Urgent Notice




I have already told about the importance of this scroll "Three Divine Odes with Anecdotes" here.
but it seems that the time has come I should tell you something more obvious and serious.

Believe it or not, the Odes has a very ancient origin (probably more than several thousand years ago) and have been treated as holy & secret things in many parts of the world, NOT ONLY IN EAST ASIA.

Of course there may be slight variations as the area differs and as the time changes. And in many cases you cannot recognize the Ode at a glance, because they would often pun on the Odes and give various superficial meanings to the Odes.

For example, Zoroastrianism has four sacred prayers entitled Ahunavar, Ashem Vohu, Yenghe Hatam and Airyaman ishya.
Actually, Airyaman ishya corresponds to Divine Ode #1 and Ahunavar to Divine Ode #2, Ashem Vohu to #3 and Yenghe Hatam to #4. [#4 corresponds to the verse in Section 25.]
You should know that these Zoroastrian verses were made intentionally so that they sound like the Divine Odes.

Furthermore, many, many verses or lyrics that sound like the Divine Odes have been produced by those who know the secrets of the odes (whether religious verses or not).

For example, some of Nursery Rhymes, National Anthem of UK, Joy to The World,.....

You may wonder what these Odes mean then.

In fact, #1 is the ode to the deity which corresponds to the Sun Ancestor in the scroll and #3 is to the holy grandson (Shin-so in the scroll). #2 is for the grandson's father omitted in the scroll while #4 is for the Divine Child (Kiri-koye-Ake in the scroll).

These four deities are sometimes grasped as four elements of one god.
In the legendary #1 also correponds to Aki-fi, #2 to Yara-fi, #3 to Neki-fi and #4 to Taki-fi in Section 20.
This structure is similar to that of Zurwanism.

Presumably, deities #3 and #4 were one deity originally. That is why the Ode #4 is not treated on the equal basis with other 3 Odes in the Legendary.

In other words, Ode #1 is for the mother, #2 is for the father and #3 is for the child.
As you know, as the time goes by, the Mother God was eliminated in many parts of the world and changed shape or took other form than Goddess.

This resulted in the sensitive usage of Ode #1 in many quasi-Ode verses.


I am so sorry that I cannot take enough time to explain why these things are true. Just guess...
